Terra Bella Box – Cruelty Free Beauty

As most of you know, I’m a cruelty free consumer and one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to try out a plethora of CF products is to sign up for subscription boxes! Today I want to share what was in my Terra Bella Box for January. If you’d like to see what was in the December box click the link: Terra Bella Box – December

So let’s talk details first.

Terra Bella is a bath and beauty box with a focus on small businesses that focus on small batch products. All the goodies are cruelty free with some vegan products as well.

Terra Bella charges/ships monthly until you cancel and they offer 2 choices.

Terra Bella Box: 3-4 natural, artisan bath and beauty products for $32.95

The Makeup Edit: At least 3 make-up only products for $29.95

Free shipping in the USA and flat rate to Canada and Australia…rest of you lovelies pay full shipping.

Longer subscriptions will save you money as well.

Kate, the founder has generously sent me this box for review. My reviews will always be honest so no worries there. Anyone who has ever ordered a subscription box knows that not every item may be for them. It’s part of the risk, but generally speaking the value far outweighs that risk.

On to the goodies!!

Every single box I’ve received from Terra Bella is beautifully packaged with a lot of thought and care. It really feels like you’re getting a gift from a friend.

Jersey Shore Cosmetics – Mongongo Organic Lip Conditioner in Vanilla Coconut Cream

Cost: $10.00

I love Jersey Shore Cosmetics so I was happy as soon as I saw there was a product from them this month. Yay! Last month we got a body conditioner from them so this was an awesome addition. The ingredients are USDA certified organic and non-GMO and include anti-aging, nutrient dense Mongongo oil. It’s also petroleum-free!  Basically…this is made of the good stuff. 🙂  You can also use it on your nose and cheeks too! To top it all off….it smells like dessert! ❤

Parlo Cosmetics – Whipped Shave Cream in Sweet Lime Coconut

Cost: $10.00

Ok..the good…It smells amazing. It’s Vegan friendly and it’s paraben and sulfate free. It’s full of all kinds of vitamins and antioxidants and again…it smells AMAZING.  I’ve read several reviews on this and people love it. That’s the good. The bad…it has a weird consistency. I thought it was too hot here the day the box arrived and maybe it changed the consistency permanently , but it looks like whipped cream that has been left out long enough to be questionable. 😉  AND due to my OCD, I’m not happy that something I’m supposed to use on my body is not sealed. AGAIN…that is not a deal breaker for most people..but it is for me.

Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques – Organic Intensive Skin Therapy

Cost: $11.50

Oh…I love this! It’s made with Jojoba and Coconut oil and it’s lovely. It’s a pump bottle and I love that. You can pump out the smallest amount which is all you need. Use it on your hands, feet and even your lips!  It has no real smell…and when it comes to hand cream that I’d probably sleep in, that’s important to me. I’m a huge fan of this one. 🙂

Sugar Dunk – MiniDunk Sampler in Mint Grapefruit, Lemon Lavender, Cinnamon Coffee, and Orange Vanilla.

Cost: $25.00

This one is flippin awesome! Each individual jar is 1 ounce and they are sealed! Happy Dance from Nikki!  I love a good body scrub especially in the winter and having 4 to try out is quite the treat! They use no PEGs, parabens, sulphates or phthalates, artificial fragrances, artificial preservatives, or additives. Some of their products are Vegan friendly so check out their ingredients list if you like the looks of this one.

Cost of box: $32.95

Value of box: $56.50

Even with the one miss for me, it would be well over the cost. I am such a fan of this box. I think it’s curated with a lot of thought and energy. I highly recommend giving Terra Bella Box a try if these are the kinds of goodies you are looking for.

Thanks for reading~
