Sometimes we need to Float.

FLYING through water is not only the name of my blog, but the message I want to promote. I’ve shared the reason for the name many, many times, but in case you’re new, click here to clear things up: Welcome to Flying Through Water

I have been ‘flying’ for 7 months now…or should I say learning to fly and before that I blogged at A Kinder Way for a year. As much as I believe we all need to find our inner Penguin (again…if this sounds like gibberish…click that link above) and strive for the best that we can be in life…sometimes….we need to float.

I need some floating time.

So over the next month, I’ll be re-blogging my Penguin Pointer series. I’ll be catching up on reading YOUR blogs and taking some flying lessons to boot.

I’ll be around, but I need to take some pressure off and just float for awhile.

I’ll be kicking off my flying lessons with the 2017 Hay House World Summit. This will be my 3rd year taking part and I can’t say enough good things about it.

IT’S FREE!! It starts on May 6th and goes through May 23rd.  There are 100 lessons and 16 videos that you can listen to/watch!  The lessons are presented in audio form and are predominantly self helpers being interviewed about their message. Discussions cover a wide variety of topics. There is literally something for everyone!

If you’re interested…google 2017 Hay House Summit or Click here: Hay House World Summit

One you sign up you will get access to a list of ALL the info you could possibly need.

Give it a look…you’ve got nothing to lose. 🙂

I’ll kick things off with a big ole party when I get back! ❤

Thanks for Reading~

  1. Enjoy your sabbatical. 🙂 I know the feeling. I think I have been putting a lot of pressure on myself lately to achieve, and it often just causes frustration. Sometimes we all need to cut ourselves some slack.

      1. That’s good to hear Nikki. Sometimes we really need that time… ☺ My family will be going out of town to spend some time with family so I’ll be out in a few days too. It’s the birthday of 2 of my little nieces (turning 2 & 3) and the christening of my youngest niece. Plus it’s my brother’s bday too! Time for celebration! 😊
I hope your son & Steve are doing great too…**Hugs**💕

  3. I love the image of the floating penguin!! 🙂 Your concept is so cool, Nikki!

I think a lot of bloggers feel that “floating” need lately. I’ve read many posts going that way, and people appologizing for not being present, or as active as they used to… I, for one, had a totally frustrating period when I felt like I wasn’t up to the task anymore, when it seemed soooo easy just a few months back!

I felt like when you run down a steep hill, and it goes really fast, until you miss one step, and you can’t do anything to prevent the mega stumble that comes after that bad step…

Luckily, I think I am getting back on track, and I’ll be there to party with you big time when you reintegrate the bloggosphere after your floating break 🙂

Take good care! You’re a great person to follow, and to get to know through your posts and your comments… *big hugs*

  4. Yipppppppppeeeeeeeeee! GO GIRL! Nikki I so acknowledge you for supporting your self. I’m in process of doing the same thing, well of taking a look at what helps me fly. And how to support myself in it, during it, etc! Have a wonderful time at the Hay House Summit, and please know that I love you. Debbie
