Call Your Shot – Weekly Intentions – 6/26

It’s that time again! I did my weekly draw and here are the gorgeous cards I got this week. I have to say I’m a fan. I feel like it’s almost too freaky sometimes how much the messages on these cards line up to what I really do need to focus on in that moment. So here is a closer look.

The Panda card is a great reminder to keep my sacred space….well….sacred. I have been letting my desk/area get a bit cluttered and messy.  Not a welcoming place for me. I’ll spend tomorrow morning straightening it up and getting things back to the way I like them. That way when the urge to write comes up…I can actually focus.

More on Forgiveness which is of course a process I’m working on. One week of work is not nearly enough so I was pleased to see this card pop out to keep me and my thoughts focused. I feel that what I’ve learned so far has given me some breathing room and allowed me to feel a sense of freedom I didn’t know I needed.

Ah…. the Law of Attraction.  How do I love thee! I have been working on changing my thoughts for the last couple of years. I’ve gotten quite good at it and I’ve seen the miracles it can create. We are so powerful and learning to use that power to make our lives better is something that can be quite tricky. I’m a work in progress…as we all are….so this is a good reminder. As I said in my last post…back to basics.

And finally…the last card I drew is a powerful one. Why? Because someone close to me is not learning the way I want them to. Ha! How absolutely ridiculous is that?  More on this later in the week.

I am also very excited to get back to my yoga practice. I didn’t feel well last week and really slacked off on it and I can feel it in my body and even mentally.  It never ceases to amaze me how beneficial yoga is for me.

I hope you have a fabulous week and I’d love to hear about your intentions for the week ahead.

Call your shot!

Happy Monday

      1. Still waiting till autumn to have “Wolves of Dacia” come round on the publisher’s schedule, just keeping myself busy with miscellaneous creative stuff till then (blogging, fanfic, more games, etc). Yes, getting into wicca has been very interesting and positive. 🙂 I do need to put more time into studying that, as well. Reading has slipped of late …

        1. Autumn is not that far off. This is so exciting! There is so much to learn with Wicca. Years ago one of my best girlfriends had books upon books on the subject. I have always thought it was fascinating but never took the plunge to learn.

  1. Nice post, Nikki! I was decluttering a few nights ago and found a yoga CD. Since I haven’t yet kept my promise to make it to a studio this year, I’ll begin practicing at home tomorrow…praying that it helps with anxiety. 😀

    1. There are SO many different ones. Mine are two Louise Hay decks (The smaller ones) a Steven Farmer set and a Hicks set. If you go to Hay House and then to their store and search for card decks….you can see a bunch of different ones. Then you can look for them on Amazon to compare prices. 😉 Hay House does have sales from time to time. I only paid about 5 dollars a deck because of sales. I wait for them 😉 They are normally around 15 a deck.
Another search tip would be ‘Affirmation cards’.
There really are a ton of different decks put out by a lot of different people. 🙂 It’s fun to search through them.

  2. Ooh… I see some great reminders for myself as well! I’ve been working hard on the law of attraction. I tend to doubt my abilities and am trying to break sending out that negativity. 🙂

  3. Beautiful thoughts Nikki, and yes, that power of intention and attraction…
Glad to see you are returning to your yoga practise.
My intentions would be to stay more mindful and less impatient to see what’s next for me.
Thank you for a lovely post,
    Di 🙋🏻💕

      1. Ah you and me both Nikki. I was always told and sometimes still… ‘you’re not happy unless you’re worrying.’ A funny thought isn’t it. And wanting to know our ‘what’s next’ is where my impatience rears its presence.
        All the best,
        Di 🙋🏻💕

          1. Oh yes, it’s a complicated one this little anxious mind Nikki.
May I share a quote that I have on my mirror… you may remember it from a post of mine but I’ll add it here again. It’s given me enormous relief when I find myself as you described above… it’s by Ekhart Tolle..
‘When you become comfortable with uncertainty, infinite possibilities open in your life..’
I hope it means as much for you as it does every day for me.
            Hugs to you 🙋🏻💜
